Light Pollution Reflection / Refraction Number 27

I guarantee my reflections and refractions will create controversy and confrontation; and quite likely I'll step on many toes, but it's time to be brutally honest.
Reaching People is Easy...
REACHING PEOPLE IS EASY THESE DAYS. BUT TOUCHING THEM…
HOW DOES ONE TOUCH PEOPLE DEEPLY ENOUGH TO MAKE THEM ACT?
Technobuzzardry makes it extremely easy to reach more people in more places at more times than ever before--and instantly!
But are they truly listening, seeing? Are they truly being touched? Are they being touched enough, deep enough, to make them act?
More humans than ever before in the history of the species may be more aware, more tuned in, plugged in, hooked up, online, wired, connected, linked, etc.
AND YET…
And yet, the species seems more apathetic than ever, more unwilling to act…
ACT!
More technology than ever seems to create more APATHY and less ACTION!!
Again, as I've remarked before: technology is NOT the solution to the problem, it IS the problem!
I wish I knew the answer(s) to my own question: How does one touch people deeply enough to make them ACT!?
But even if I did know the answer(s), and even if I could share my answer(s) with millions of people all over the world (my website?), would light pollution increase or decrease?
So far the record has been clear: after 25-plus years of astronomers and others working to eliminate light pollution, it's only gotten worse, MUCH worse!
What will make YOU act to eliminate light pollution? What will make you ACT to restore dark skies?
With apologies to my drill-and-fill man: What nerve do I have to drill into deep enough to get your attention and make you ACT?
